How To Make Sabudana Appe Recipe

    1. In a grinding jar add samak rice and sago and grind it into a fine powder.
    2. Then, transfer this mixture to a deep bowl, add curd and all the remaining ingredients, and mix it well.
    3. It should form a uniform loose dough. Add water a little at a time and make a thick pouring consistency.
    4. Now, heat Appe Patra on a medium flame and grease the round mold/indentations with a drop of oil or desi ghee.
    5. Also, drop 1 tsp of the apple batter in the individual indentations with a spoon.
    6. Now add the paneer filling in the center and again add the batter over the paneer filling.
    7. Cover the pan and then cook it for 1-2 mins on low flame.
    8. After a few minutes, turn the app balls over with a spoon. When you turn them, the bottom should be golden brown and crisp. Add another drop of oil or ghee on the sides of each appe ball so that they cook through and do not stick to the pan.
    9. And, once both sides are cooked and golden, remove them from the pan.
    10. Serve hot with coconut chutney or plain dahi.

Health Benefits Of Sabudana Appe Recipe

While sabudana is mostly known as a high-calorie food with a lot of carbohydrates, it also has important essential nutrients like fiber, proteins, and calcium that help with digestion, make strong muscles, and strengthen bones and joints.

    1. Provides Plenty Of Energy

The starches and simple sugars in sabudana are easily metabolized by the body to produce glucose, which is needed by cells and tissues for their biochemical processes and energy requirements.
