  • On the other hand, if you think about what is perfectionism striving for? It is an individual having unhealthy perfectionism tendencies who tends to procrastinate, because of fear of failure. 
  • This creates self-doubt and procrastination unless they are 100% sure about their success. 
  • So those who say that they are lazy, and not able to follow the diet, are not lazy actually, it’s the reasons for perfectionism, their unhealthy perfectionism tendencies.
  • Moreover, fear, and anxiety of failing, stop them from working and lead to procrastination. It’s their irrational belief patterns that stop perfectionism from losing weight.

  • Mindfulness is the practice of being in the present moment. One of the main causes behind perfectionism is thinking about the future only. 
  • Either it might lead to reaching the top level or else procrastination I.e., totally avoiding tasks. Practicing mindfulness will help the trained mind to be in the present moment.
