The company is a fast-paced Indian D2C Health-tech startup looking to hire senior talent. It is an AI powered online platform for weight loss and chronic disease management. The company was founded with a vision to help customers take the healthier route by eating right, staying active and building healthy habits. It has grown exponentially with strong unit economics and is now looking build its leadership team across multiple roles.

As a Tech Lead, you will:

● Regularly tackle the largest and most complex problems on the team, from technical design to launch.
● Determine plans-of-attack on large projects
● Routinely tackle complex architecture challenges and apply architectural standards and start using them on new projects.
● Create solutions architecture, algorithms, and designs for solutions that scale to the
customer's requirements.
● Collaborate with Product Management to understand the acceptance criteria and with QA to do test-driven development.
● Effectively monitor quality throughout the implementation.
● Lead code reviews & documentation as well as take on complex bug fixes, especially on high-risk problems.
● Set the standard for thorough, meaningful code reviews
● Partner across engineering teams to take on company-wide initiatives spanning multiple projects.

Essential & Technical skills:

● 5+ years of experience, Must be able to make informed decisions regarding the selection and implementation of appropriate technologies, to support the platform's objectives.
● Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss data structures, algorithms, and relevant technologies. Experience with generative AI and machine learning is desirable.
● Experience with Software Product Development, a quick learner of Business Logic and solving business problems by developing simple and intuitive Product features.
● Experience working in a team, collaborating effectively with clear communications.
● Design and develop robust solutions using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js), ensuring alignment with the microservices architecture for scalable and maintainable code.
● Oversee database management and optimization, leveraging both MongoDB and PostgreSQL to ensure data integrity, performance, and security across all application services.
● Experience building event-driven based on SQS, SNS, Kafka or equivalent technologies.
● Architect and maintain a reliable queue system to manage workflows and data processing tasks efficiently, enhancing system responsiveness and throughput.
● Lead the infrastructure management efforts, utilizing Kubernetes to orchestrate containerized applications, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and seamless auto-scaling across environments.
● Mentor and guide a team of developers, fostering a collaborative environment to innovate and implement best practices in software development, testing, and deployment strategies.
