Mac struggled with obesity all through his teenage years, reaching 120 kgs at 19. In an effort to adopt a healthier lifestyle, he joined a gym and started working out 2 hours a day - making exercise a part of his daily routine. He lost 20 kgs.

With a fixed fitness regime in place, Mac eventually lost 50+ kgs. However, all the weight bounced back when he suffered an accident - and to make matters worse, he got diagnosed with cervical spondylitis. It was during this period that he took an interest in the power of natural foods.
