Here we are sharing an easy step-by-step method to prepare this recipe in the comfort of your home.
· In a bowl, mix whole wheat flour with a bit of salt. Gradually add water and knead until you get a soft dough. Cover the dough with a wet cloth and set it aside.
· Heat a pan and add oil or desi ghee.
· Add cumin powder (or cumin seeds), chopped onions, and finely chopped green chilies. Sauté until onions are transparent.
· Add carrots, peas, beans, corn, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook until the veggies are tender. Set the vegetable filling aside.
· Take a small piece of dough, roll it into a ball, and flatten it on a floured surface.
· Place a spoonful of the vegetable filling in the center. Fold the edges of the dough over the filling, creating a pouch, and seal it.
· Gently roll out the stuffed dough into a flatbread (paratha).
· Heat a pan over medium heat. Cook the paratha until bubbles appear on the surface. Brush ghee or olive oil on top.
· Cook until both sides are golden and crispy. Repeat for the remaining parathas.
· Finally enjoy your mixed veg paratha.
